NDA
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Conducts National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NA) examinations twice a year to select candidates to join Indian Armed Forces as officers in the Army, Navy and Airforce. Selected candidates after written test and service selection board interview will undergo initial training in the National Defence Academy (NDA) Pune.

Eligibility
Candidates in the age group of 16.5 – 19.5 years are eligible to appear for the NDA written exam. Candidates should have passed class 12 exam, and those wanting to join the Navy and Air force should pass the exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Exam Pattern
The National Defence Academy exam consists of 2 papers, Mathematics and General Ability. Total Marks: The Mathematics paper contains 300 marks while the General Ability test holds 600 marks. The written test will be of total 900 marks.
Syllabus
NDA written examination is divided into two papers namely Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The boys and girls who are seeking to apply for NDA must begin their preparation for the written exam by following the detailed NDA Syllabus.
