Combined Defence Service Exam Online
The Combined Defence Services Examination offers an opportunity for unmarried graduates to become a part of the coveted Indian Armed Forces. The examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission with the notifications usually released in the months of October and June.
Unmarried male candidates in the age group of 19-24 year are eligible for CDS – Indian Military Academy (IMA) entry.
A degree from a recognised university is the minimum educational qualification required to become an officer in the Indian Army.
CDS is conducted twice in a year in April and September where 100 candidates are selected in each batch for 18 months training in the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
Army officer aspirants have to go through three levels of testing to make it to IMA, Dehradun.
Combined Defence Service (CDS) exam is the first stage where they will be tested on their basic English, general knowledge and Mathematics.

Engineering graduate aspirants.
Aspirants who have completed graduation from any stream can also enroll.
