The Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview is an important step in achieving your dream of becoming an officer in the Indian Armed Forces. All candidates except those who wish to be part of the medical corps must clear the SSB interview.
Union Public Service Commission mentions a list of eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to satisfy to apply for the post of CAPF Assistant Commandant. The below-given eligibility criteria are mentioned in the official notification of UPSC CAPF 2019:
- Age Limit: Candidate must be between 20 years and 25 years of age. There is an age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and age relaxation of up to 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Educational Qualifications: Candidate must be a graduate from any Government University or Deemed to be University.
- Sex: Both male and female candidate can apply
- Nationality: Candidate should be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
The candidate also needs to fulfil the physical and medical eligibility standards to apply for the post of Assistant Commandant. The physical standards required for CAPF exam are as follows:
